What does the £99 / month actually cover?
Hosting on infrastructure we look after, monitoring and uptime alerting, security updates, a backup schedule, and small content / copy / image changes every month. The whole site runs on us between brief and next-build.
Why pay a monthly retainer rather than a one-off build and forget?
Because most websites stop being useful three months after they go live. Copy goes stale, prices change, services move, opening hours shift, a new partner joins. The retainer is what makes those changes happen the same day you ask, without re-engaging an agency every time.
What does the £999 one-off cover?
The original build — design, copy, deploy, real domain, around five to seven pages on a stack you actually own. Most projects land inside that scope; we will tell you on the first call if yours genuinely needs more.
Can I cancel the retainer at any time?
Yes. One month’s notice, no exit fees. You either keep the site running with us, or we hand it over so your in-house or new agency team can take it on. The site, the code and the design always belong to you.
How much can I change every month?
A fair amount. Multiple copy / image / page-content updates, a new contact form, a new service block, a price change — all included. Major new features or wholesale rebuilds we quote separately on a small build fee.
What happens if I just need hosting?
The £99 includes hosting, but it includes a lot more than hosting too. If you genuinely only need hosting and never want to touch the site, you are paying for capacity you will not use — tell us on the first call and we will be honest about whether the retainer makes sense.
