What does "embedded" actually mean in practice?
Embedded means our engineers behave like senior members of your team for the duration of the engagement. They get a seat in your Slack and your stand-ups, commit into your repos, deploy through your pipelines, and join your incident channels. The boundary is contractual, not architectural.
How is this different from staff augmentation or an agency?
Staff augmentation typically gives you a body and a day rate. We give you a named senior lead accountable for shipped systems, with the rest of the team backing them. We do not bench juniors against your account, and we do not invoice for ramp-up. The hours you buy are the hours we ship.
Do you embed for the long term, or just a project?
Either. Many engagements run a build phase — senior capacity sized to the project — then taper into a steady-state retainer for the operate-and-extend phase. The retainer is monthly with no long lock-in.
Will your embedded engineers leave us with code we can run?
That is the point of the model. The code, the tests, the runbooks, the deployment pipelines and the on-call notes leave with you. Your engineers extend the system after we hand it over — not us.
